Episode 8 - "Blood is thicker than..."
It’s almost Valentine’s Day and the Neptunes have been forced to go to another school assembly. They find out that the 3rd A.C.E. Academy annual blood drive will be occurring, and every student that donates gets a free pass off campus. How can you say no?
But The Neptunes, especially Jacob, have some concerns about this seemingly harmless event. Jacob takes charge and begins trying to figure out how to stop this from happening. When he realizes he can’t, he convinces the gang to help him somehow protect the blood from any nefarious uses, including being used to feed the local vampire population.
The gang gathers around the library to do some research, when the question pops up about the whereabouts of Ariel. Nathan quickly shuts down any discussion of the topic, including getting into the face of Jacob, who insisted that her help would speed along the process.
After much research and gathering of materials, Jacob and Sam scout out the nursing station, waiting for the perfect opportunity to sneak in with the other magik wielders. Using the spell they discovered, they are able to prevent the 2nd shipment from being used in any rituals. The blood is for all intents and purposes dead. They unfortunately missed the first shipment. They managed to track down the first shipment, but by the time they reached the hospital, it had already been dispersed, which included a good chunk of the school already.
During the night, Jacob was visited by Sam’s pet cat, which seems to have taken a special interest in Jacob, but only Jacob has noticed. He’s also begun to seduce the newly shrunk Danielle, much to the chagrin of the rest of the group. Danielle is in talks with Lucas and Nathan about magiks more and more, but hasn’t seemed does not seem to have the innate ability to use them.
We left the group in the cafeteria the next day, when Ms. Rocca asked the Neptunes if they had seen Lucas, and to let him know she would like to see him in her office. Sam was the only one that twitched at that.
